1. Who we are

Hudson Dry Works LLC (“we”, “us”) is a New Jersey limited liability company installing sump pump backup systems and flood sensors in residential buildings. 2. Information we collect

Through the survey request form we collect only the information you type: your name, phone number, email address, building address, the service category you select, and the free-text description of your basement situation. We also record the date and time of the submission.

Our web server keeps standard technical logs that may include your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. These logs are used for security and troubleshooting and are deleted automatically after 30 days.

We do not operate advertising trackers, social pixels, or third-party analytics profiling on this website. Font files are requested from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address as part of that request; no cookie is set by this site for marketing purposes.

3. Why we use it

We use your details to answer your enquiry, schedule and perform a basement survey, prepare a written quote, carry out agreed work, issue invoices, honor workmanship warranties, and keep the service records that New Jersey plumbing regulations require us to retain. We do not sell, rent or trade personal data.

4. Legal basis and consent

We process enquiry data on the basis of your request and your explicit consent given with the form checkbox, and on the basis of contract performance once work is agreed. You may withdraw consent at any time; where no contract or legal retention duty exists, we will delete your data on request.

5. Sharing

Your information may be shared only with: our email and website hosting providers, who process data on our instructions; our accountant, for invoicing records; and, where you ask us to, your building’s managing agent or board for approval purposes. Equipment manufacturers receive only a serial number and installation date when you register a product warranty. We may disclose information if required by law or a valid court order.

6. Retention

Enquiries that do not become jobs are deleted after 12 months. Completed job files, including survey measurements and installation records, are kept for 7 years for warranty and tax purposes. Server logs are kept for 30 days.

7. Your rights

You may ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccurate details, ask us to delete information we no longer need, or object to a particular use. Residents of states with applicable privacy statutes may also ask us to confirm that we have not sold or shared their personal information — we have not and do not.

8. Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are delivered to a password-protected mailbox with two-factor authentication. Paper survey sheets are stored in a locked cabinet at our Washington Street office and shredded when digitized. Access is limited to the two staff members who need it.

9. Children

This website is intended for property owners and managers. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16 years of age.

10. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting existing clients will also be sent by email to the address on file.
